For some reason whenever there is a major crime or mass shooting, video games get the blame. It's a very weak argument and a very stupid one to make too. I know a lot of people that play video games and a lot of them don't even play first person shooters, so if you're telling me that someone that plays the sims or mine craft or train simulator is going to be a mass shooter because "Video games cause violence" you can piss off. It's a very stupid argument, the people who commit mass shootings have mental health problems, combine this with a racist leader and easy to access weapons and that is how they happen. In the past week, America has had 3 mass shootings, or should I correct myself - 3 were reported in the UK. I will clarify this in a minute, but I would like to point out that America has gone too far into the abyss of owning guns to be able to come out of it. They are a regular occurrence in America and that is the problem, they have clearly very poor gun laws. I don't know if you saw recently, but Sir David Attenborough was at Glastonbury music festival to advocate recycling and how we all have to look out for the planet. I fully agree with him - we all do. But that is the problem, we all agree on the face of it but how many people are actually willing to act about it?
